Las Cruces hero Canaan Bower killed in motorcycle crash

LAS CRUCES – Canaan Bower — a Mayfield Substantial Faculty wrestling champ who acquired nationwide prominence right after halting a kidnapping in development — died Wednesday in a bike crash.

Kara Garrett Bower, Canaan’s mother, shared a heartfelt write-up Thursday on Fb soon after studying of her son’s death.

“We are overwhelmed with disappointment, but really feel compelled to share with the planet as he was loved (by) quite a few. Last evening Canaan was killed in a motorcycle incident.
