Man Dies In East Hampton Motorcycle Crash: Police

EAST HAMPTON, NY — An East Hampton male died Wednesday night time immediately after a bike crash, police explained.

According to East Hampton City Police, Jefferson D. Eames, 53, of East Hampton, was driving a 2011 Yamaha north on Accabonac Road in close proximity to Banks Ct. when he veered off the roadway and struck a tree.

Eames was transported by East Hampton Ambulance to Stony Brook Southampton Healthcare facility, where he succumbed to his injuries, police explained.
