HOLLAND TWP. — A West Olive male was airlifted to Grand Rapids pursuing a two-automobile crash involving a motorbike and a pickup truck in Holland Township Friday afternoon.
The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office environment responded to the crash just immediately after 2:30 p.m. Friday, May possibly 20. It occurred on James Road, east of 120th Avenue.
Investigation confirmed a 59-calendar year-previous gentleman from West Olive was traveling eastbound on James Street on a motorcycle. A 22-yr-outdated Holland person driving a pickup truck pulled out of a non-public generate into the route of the motorcycle.
The motorbike struck the truck and the driver, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the car or truck. He was transported to Spectrum Health and fitness Butterworth Medical center by Aero Med Helicopter with what the OCSO described as daily life-threatening accidents.
The driver of the truck was not wounded in the crash, which remains under investigation by the Ottawa County Sheriff’s Business.
