McLaren Automotive appoints Michael Leiters as Chief Executive Officer

German-born Mr Leiters, 50, holds a doctorate in engineering and has held senior positions at Porsche AG and, more not long ago, was Main Technological innovation Officer at Ferrari.

Mr Leiters will be based at McLaren’s world-wide-headquarters at the McLaren Technology Centre and the adjoining McLaren Generation Centre in Surrey, England where by all the company’s supercars and hypercars are hand-created.

Mr Leiters will direct the 3,000-powerful workforce spanning all global functions, which includes the McLaren Composites Know-how Centre, instrumental in innovating engineering for the company’s ground-breaking high-efficiency hybrid sequence output supercar the McLaren Artura, deliveries of which are shortly to begin.

McLaren now has more than 100 stores in about 40 territories close to the world. Even with the pandemic, McLaren carries on to see sturdy client desire, notably for its restricted-manufacturing products with both equally the 765LT Coupe and Spider variants entirely bought out along with the Supreme Sequence Elva.
