Regulation-enforcement officers are investigating a Saturday afternoon collision involving a motorcycle.
A 52-year-previous girl from Emmett was driving a Jeep Renegade south of Emmett at 4:08 p.m. when the vehicle crossed the center line, hitting a motorbike traveling south, according to an Idaho Point out Police news launch.
The 61-calendar year-previous gentleman from Star was driving the motorcycle with a 39-year-previous woman from Kearns, Utah, as a passenger, Idaho State Police claimed. Irrespective of donning helmets, both of those were damage in the collision and transported by air to a hospital. The woman died at the hospital from her injuries.
Idaho State Police explained they identified proof suggesting the Jeep driver might have been consuming alcohol. They are continuing to look into the crash.
The crash transpired on State Highway 16 around the intersection with Outdated Freezeout Road. Regulation enforcement blocked the scene for five hrs when unexpected emergency responders addressed the people involved and cleared the scene.
