SELMA, N.C. (WNCN) — A third suspect has been arrested in a “wild broad daylight shootout” that took place in Selma past month, police claimed.
The incident happened just before 1 p.m. on June 23 when two folks in a motor vehicle fired at individuals sitting on a porch at a house at the corner of Inexperienced and W. Martin Luther King streets, Selma police stated in a information launch.
Folks from the entrance porch then obtained into a auto and started chasing individuals who fired at them, police said.

Lupe Gonzales III, 20, was charged Monday with felony assault with a deadly weapon with intent to destroy inflicting critical personal injury and felony discharging firearm from an occupied car or truck into an occupied car or truck, police said.
He was also held on a $1 million bond.
Selma police stated the next vehicle associated in the shootout was discovered the day of the incident. 3 juveniles have been in that “bullet-riddled” motor vehicle and they have been detained. Two other individuals in the vehicle fled by working from the scene.
