A motorcyclist and a passenger in a car were being significantly injured Sunday morning just after the Harley-Davidson bike crashed into the facet of the car on River Street, according to Puyallup law enforcement.
All-around 10:20 a.m. Sunday, the motorcyclist was headed east on River Street from the county into the city, reportedly driving recklessly and at perilous speeds, Main Scott Engle explained.
In the meantime, a lady and a teenager in a car or truck had been turning remaining from River Road into the parking great deal at a Benefit Village retail store in the area. That’s when the bike slammed into the passenger side of the car or truck at a substantial speed, he explained.
The gentleman on the bike, who police suspect was impaired, endured critical accidents, as did the male teen passenger, Engle stated. Both of those ended up taken to area hospitals.
All through the investigation, visitors was delayed on eastbound River Highway.
Chief Engle reported about 2:20 p.m. Sunday that River Street was about to completely reopen to visitors.
